Description
This plant has some connection with the Flora of Assyrian Monuments. You can find on the pavement of the palace of Sardanapalu (basement, British Museum), and in other Assyrian monument relief.
It was associated with the sun: the lotus, like the sun, opened in the morning and closed at night, it was seen as a flower of resurrection, and life that lives on water.
Mat Polychrome finish.
